A place of great natural beauty, Nova Scotia is my home by birth and by choice. Located on the south eastern coast of Canada, the province is bounded and shaped by the Atlantic Ocean. I am part of the long tradition of self-taught maritime artists. I am privileged to live among the fauna and flora of Nova Scotia and I try to impart that through drawings and paintings. My art has been described by some some as hyper-realism. Birds, elegant and beautiful, have long captured my imagination. With graphite and watercolour, clean lines and close attention to detail, I work to capture their magic.
