Jeannette Oickle was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. A former French elementary school teacher, She retired in 2005 to beautiful Beaver Harbour, Nova Scotia.
She loves birds, nature, and ocean scenes. Although she tried gouache and oil paints, she chooses to work in mainly acrylic and water-colour.
Her new passion is to make old wooden chairs look new again.
Her ''Harmony Collection'' is composed of over 50 One of a Kind Unique Painted Chairs.
